PROJECT FOR RESTORATION OF HEALTH SYSTEM FOR WOMEN  AND  CHILDREN IN QUAKE-HIT   AREAS, SICHUAN UNIVERSITY

A most devastating earthquake measured 8.0 on Richter scale hit Wenchuan County at 14:27 May 12, 2008. Buildings were razed to the ground. Thousands of people were trapped and lost their lives in rubble. Children lost their parents. Women left helpless. Life is caught in a desperate situation. They need our love and efforts to restore their life and ignite their hope. After sending batches of medical aid teams for emergency relief, we find the urgent need to start this restoration project.
OUR GOALS: To integrate resources from home and abroad to help the government in reconstructing the health system for women and children in quake-hit areas and provide health services for quake affected women and children.                                                          ......more
